BHP of Central Ohio is seeking a customer service oriented individual to serve as a part time Residential Aide at The Courage House, BHP’s Women’s Recovery Center. Our current opening is for a part time (16 hour) 2nd shift, weekend role. The primary duty of this position is to assure the safety and security of the facility in which they are working. Additional responsibilities include: provide a range supportive services such as listening and responding to clients concerns, monitoring client activity and conducting facility rounds on all four (4) floors by walking through the facility at least hourly
BHP is searching for a Resident Manager, for our Mt. Vernon, Ohio women’s sober living facility. This is a live-in position; candidates must be willing to move and live on-site in a residential home. Responsibilities of the position will include: oversight and support in following all house policies and procedures; help maintain a drug free environment; administration of supervised urine drug screens as outlined in policies; facilitate house meetings including assigning and coordinating house chores and cleaning duties. The Resident Manager will assist with move in/move out processes, new resident orientation and will collect rent from residents weekly. In addition, this position is responsible for weekly individual meetings with all residents.
Successful candidates must be actively working a program of recovery and demonstrate at least one (1) year of continuous sobriety/recovery. BHP is seeking a licensed clinician for a full/part time Outpatient Therapy position serving youth/families. Candidates should be skilled in providing therapy to children as young as age 5. Successful candidates will possess competent assessment and diagnostic skills to treat emotional and behavioral disorders of childhood and adolescence. In addition, this individual will have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate and communicate with other service providers. Individuals need substantial proven experience in writing and implementing treatment plans, providing therapy including family therapy, and attending to client outcomes.
