Family Care Coordinator - Licking

BHP is currently searching for an experienced professional to provide full time case management services for a position on our youth team in Licking County. This position require experience in Community Support outreach activities including case coordination and conducting home, community and school visits. Candidates should possess proven experience in treatment planning and implementation from a strength based perspective. Responsible for setting and enforcing appropriate boundaries with clients and coworkers. Candidates should have experience in meeting client service expectations and utilization of electronic records. Associate Degree in Human Service field is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Licensure is preferred (SWA, LSW)

Residential Aide - SH

BHP of Central Ohio is seeking customer service oriented individual to serve as a Residential Aide at The Spencer House. The primary duty is to assure the safety and security of the facility. RA’s also serve as a role model for the clients and need to be able to demonstrate pro-social behaviors. Additional responsibilities include: provide a range supportive services such as listening and responding to clients concerns, monitoring client activity and conducting facility rounds on all four (4) floors by walking through the facility at least hourly, ability to issue rule violations when necessary. They will also complete multiple check-in tasks during client admission, Shift Change Report and security checks as well as, completing the Daily Shift Report and Incident Reports, as needed.

Adult Recovery Coordinator - Knox

BHP is currently searching for experienced professionals to provide full time case management services. This position requires experience in Community Support outreach activities including case coordination and conducting home and community visits. The ability to collaborate and communicate with other service providers is essential. Must be able to engage and maintain professional client relationships. Responsible for setting and enforcing appropriate boundaries with clients. Associate Degree in Human Service field is required; a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Licensure is preferred (SWA, LSW, LPC). This position provides transportation to clients therefore candidates must be able to provide reliable transportation; valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are required.

Certified Med. Assistant

BHP is searching for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide full-time support to adults and children with severe and persistent mental illness. Responsibilities include preparing clients for the health care visit, answering telephone calls from clients and pharmacies, directing incoming calls to appropriate staff members and answering questions, taking messages and providing information. The individual will perform preliminary physical tests such as blood pressure, weight and height and complete documentation from patient examinations, treatment and test results. Candidates must possess strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other service providers. CMA certification is required. Associates Degree preferred.

Criminal Justice Specialist 1

BHP is searching for an individual willing to provide full-time case management services to substance abusers and/or mentally ill clients involved in the Criminal Justice System. Must be able to engage and maintain professional client relationships including the ability to be consistent with clients and treat everyone equally with respect and dignity. Responsible for setting and enforcing appropriate boundaries with clients and coworkers. Candidates should have experience in maintaining client service expectations and utilization of electronic health records. Associate Degree in Human Service field is required, prefer Bachelor’s Degree, LSW or PC. This position is a direct service position transporting clients, must have reliable transportation, a valid Ohio driver’s license.

BHP of Central Ohio is seeking a customer service oriented individual to serve as a Part time / full time Residential Aide at both Courage and Spencer Houses, BHP’s Women’s Recovery Center, or The Spencer House, BHP’s Men’s Recovery Center. The primary duty of this position is to assure the safety and security of the facility in which they are working. Additional responsibilities include: provide a range supportive services such as listening and responding to clients concerns, monitoring client activity and conducting facility rounds on all four (4) floors by walking through the facility at least hourly.

Outpatient Therapist

BHP is seeking a licensed clinician for a full/part time Outpatient Therapy position serving youth/families. Candidates should be skilled in providing therapy to children as young as age 5. Successful candidates will possess competent assessment and diagnostic skills to treat emotional and behavioral disorders of childhood and adolescence.  In addition, this individual will have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate and communicate with other service providers.  Individuals need substantial proven experience in writing and implementing treatment plans, providing therapy including family therapy, and attending to client outcomes. Bachelors level LSW/LPC is required, prefer Masters level LISW, PCC or LICDC (or equivalent training and experience).  A minimum of two years of experience working with children required.

Crisis Intervention Specialist

BHP is currently searching for part time as well as full time experienced individuals to serve as a Crisis Intervention Specialist. This position is responsible for conducting psychosocial assessments including mental status examination, lethality examination and diagnosis. Candidates must have the ability to quickly engage, assess, problem solve, and reach crisis stabilization. The ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation of client services is essential. All positions in the department require flexibility in scheduling and work location. This position will primarily serve Knox County and will provide weekend coverage. The Crisis Specialist may be required to cover additional shifts in rotation with other crisis workers as needed.

Residential Aide - AH

BHP of Central Ohio is seeking customer service oriented individuals to serve as a Residential Aide at Altmaier House, our Men’s Residential Adult Care Facility. This individual will provide supervision of daily living to residents who have a severe mental illness. Responsibilities include: meal and snack preparation, monitor mental and physical symptoms, provide emergency and supportive services and assure the safety and security of the facility. In addition, candidates must understand excellent customer service and model positive behavior. This is a PT position, responsibilities will vary based on the shift and its operational and service needs. Requirements for the position include a high school diploma or GED. Basic computer and typing skills are required for all positions.
