Residential Aide - SH

BHP of Central Ohio is seeking customer service oriented individual to serve as a Residential Aide at Spencer House, BHP’s Men’s Recovery Center.  This is a 40 hour/week position working primarily 2nd shift (4p-12a). Candidates must understand excellent customer service and model positive behavior.  The primary duty of this position is to assure the safety and security of the facility in which they are working. Additional responsibilities include: provide a range supportive services such as listening and responding to clients concerns, monitoring client activity and conducting facility rounds on all four (4) floors by walking through the facility at least hourly, ability to issue rule violations when necessary.  They will also complete multiple check-in tasks during client admission, Shift Change Report and security checks as well as, completing the Daily Shift Report and Incident Reports, as needed. All residential aides are cross trained with the other residential facilities to fill in when necessary. Requirements for the position include a high school diploma or GED. Basic computer and typing skills are required for all positions.

Support Staff Specialist - Licking

BHP is currently searching for a customer service oriented individual to serve as a Support Staff Specialist at our office located in Licking County. Successful candidates must perform effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and embrace dynamic professional responsibilities. Such responsibilities include greeting clients, visitors and other job contacts and provide responsive general direction and assistance; maintain files and create documents; check clients in and out of the office; verify demographic information; collect insurance co-payments and account balances and log payments; answer phone and routine questions; enter client information and data into Electronic Health Record software.  Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) and have advanced computer competency. Must also have the ability to multi-task and operate basic office machines. Candidates must possess excellent verbal communication and customer service skills, excellent phone skills, and the ability to work with diverse populations. High School diploma is required; Associates preferred.  Previous experience working in a medical office is preferred.  Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation. Basic computer and typing skills are required for all positions.  

Human Resources Director

BHP of Central Ohio is seeking an Human Resources professional to lead the Human Resource department. Reporting directly to the CEO, the HR Director will maintain responsibility for planning, implementing and administering HR services and programs including employment, HR policy, benefit administration, compensation, recruitment/retention, labor relations, training and development, employment law and regulation compliance. The position will manage the HR team. Successful candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented. Requirements for the position include a combination of education and/or experience that include Bachelors degree and five to seven years of direct HR work experience. Industry HR certification preferred.

Family Care Coordinator - Licking

This position require experience in Community Support outreach activities including case coordination and conducting home, community and school visits. The ability to collaborate and communicate with other service providers (i.e. community partners) is essential.

 Residential Aide - CH

Our current opening is for a part time (16 hour) 2nd shift, weekend role. The primary duty of this position is to assure the safety and security of the facility in which they are working. Adult Services Supervisor - Licking

BHP is currently searching for an individual to serve as the Adult Services Supervisor in licking County. Responsibilities include: supervisor of staff, achievement of administrative goals and clinical expertise with adults experiencing severe behavioral health challenges. This position oversees clinical and administrative functions of Adult Recovery Coordinators and Criminal Justice position. Candidates should have experience with community-based service delivery and the ability to coordinate and collaborate successfully with a variety of community partners including the court system. Master’s Degree required, LPCC/LISW with Supervision designation preferred.

Resident Manager (House Manager)

BHP is searching for a Resident Manager, for our Mt. Vernon, Ohio women’s sober living facility. This is a live-in position; candidates must be willing to move and live on-site in a residential home. Responsibilities of the position will include: oversight and support in following all house policies and procedures; help maintain a drug free environment; administration of supervised urine drug screens as outlined in policies; facilitate house meetings including assigning and coordinating house chores and cleaning duties. The Resident Manager will assist with move in/move out processes, new resident orientation and will collect rent from residents weekly. In addition, this position is responsible for weekly individual meetings with all residents.

Successful candidates must be actively working a program of recovery and demonstrate at least one (1) year of continuous sobriety/recovery.  The ability to maintain healthy and professional boundaries and exhibit strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills are required. Basic computer and typing skills are required.

Criminal Justice Spec 2

BHP is searching for a licensed professional to provide full-time case management services and therapy to substance abusers and/or mentally ill involved in the Criminal Justice System. This position will primarily work with adult and juvenile sex offender clients. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: provide assessment and brief therapy to clients who are incarcerated; maintain and update referral log and track program outcomes; develop and update ISP’s in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards; conduct assessment and referrals into appropriate treatment programs; provide individual and group therapy and case management. Must be able to engage and maintain professional client relationships

Outpatient Therapist

BHP is seeking a licensed clinician for a full/part time Outpatient Therapy position serving youth/families. Candidates should be skilled in providing therapy to children as young as age 5. Successful candidates will possess competent assessment and diagnostic skills to treat emotional and behavioral disorders of childhood and adolescence.  In addition, this individual will have excellent written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to collaborate and communicate with other service providers.  Individuals need substantial proven experience in writing and implementing treatment plans, providing therapy including family therapy, and attending to client outcomes. Bachelors level LSW/LPC is required, prefer Masters level LISW, PCC or LICDC (or equivalent training and experience).  A minimum of two years of experience working with children required.

F/ACT Recovery Coordinator  (Case Manager)

BHP is searching for an experienced professional to provide full time and limited on call case management services for a position on our F/ACT team in Knox County. This position serves dually diagnosed, SMD adults.  This position requires experience in Community Support outreach activities including case coordination and conducting home and community visits.   The ability to collaborate and communicate with other service providers (i.e. community partners) is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.

 Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner - Knox County

BHP is currently searching for an experienced CNS or CNP Advanced Practice Nurse for a full time position.  Under the direction of a collaborating physician, this individual will evaluate and diagnose SMD adult clients who are experiencing a psychiatric emergent/urgent or routine condition in an outpatient setting. Additional responsibilities include: provide pharmacological treatment for patients including prescribing and managing psychotropic medications as well as providing follow-up; order and interpret appropriate lab tests; coordinate with other prescribers (primary care physicians) as appropriate; coordinate medical aspects of treatment with the Medical Staff, Nursing, Clinical Services and others as appropriate. Essential requirements needed for this position include: excellent clinical and documentation skills, strong written and oral communication skills, ability to collaborate with other service providers.  Must demonstrate a willingness to work in fast-paced, innovative environment. This position may provide services to both our Knox and Licking County facilities via a combination of telehealth and/or onsite service. Master of Science in Nursing Degree required; Certified in Psychiatry required. Candidates should have experience in meeting client service productivity expectations, and in the utilization of electronic health records.
